Studio Lilesadi

When I was browsing on Pinterest as usual, I came across a few interior objects by textile designer duo Studio Lilesadi. My heart always makes a jump whenever I discover Dutch talent and this time is no exception – quite the opposite. Lilesadi stands for delicate and minimalistic design. Simplicity through texture, materials, graphic details, patterns and a soft colour palette with a lot of black and white…

The studio was founded in 2012 by sisters Dinah & Sarah in Rotterdam – the cityscape has a huge influence on their work. They like to experiment with different textures such as stones and marble instead of following trends. According to them, their work depends on the flow they are in and this is reflected in the design process. They firmly believe in the philosophy of individuality, craftmanship and imperfection.

I had the honour to receive their Rainy Days cushion  for a bit more positivity during the grey days here in the Netherlands. Apart from the adorable design, the best thing to mention is that all their products are made in the European Union. Tons of love, effort & hard work go into the design process and production to deliver only the highest quality.

Studio LilesadiI already set my eyes on a few other items: I love the marble card holders, rainy days mug and matching table cloth. The soft hues & gradients used in their collection are surely worthwile to update your home for spring. Who doesn’t need some pastel items in their interior? I definitely do!

Lilesadi has collaborated with several renowned brands already, such as Photowall Sweden and Bershka – in other words, this is a brand to watch. I can’t wait to see what these lovely ladies will design and develop in the near future, but I’m sure it’ll be just as beautiful.
